When I say my career found me, I truely mean it found me.

Here's my Story!

Just at 15 years old I was working at a convenient store right here in the small town of Social Circle. I was called by a local Insurance Agency to come work for them as a "file girl". In 1993, I graduated Social Circle High School. In 1994, I passed my state exam as a licensed Independent Insurance Agent and continued with the agency I was working for until my boss was dignosed with Alzheimer's, and I was forced to move on. In 2010, I took a big leap of faith and decided to go out on my own. I didn't have the money to buy my business license so my mom loaned me $100 to get them until i could pay her back. My landlord offered to rent me the building until i made enough commission to pay her back. I was given every pen, desk, chair, paper, staples, you name it, to start my business by a local business that was unfortunately going out of business. The building that I rented was the very building my grandmother stood at every afternoon when I got off the school bus in elementary school. To say the least, God made a way and with that first commission check I was able to pay my rent and my mom back.

15 years later, I'm still writing insurance, saving people money, and making friendships along the way! Every person that has come through my door has been by a word of mouth. I proudly service my customers with the respect they deserve. I now have 5 agents working for me that are very dependable and that I couldnt be prouder of and I have watched them grow in knowledge over the years.

I'm not an active member of the Rotary Club, but I did a lot behind the scenes for the Governor of Rotary, which was my first boss. Since then, I always go by the Rotary 4-way test: 1) Is it the Truth? 2) Is it fair to all concerned? 3) Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships? and 4) Will it beneficial to all concerned? I have always gone by this and used it every day and teach my employees by it. It goes a long way!

With all of this being said, I want to thank you. Thank my hometown of Social Circle and surrounding counties for all your love and support over the years. I not only represent our wonderful state of Georgia, but I now also represent, Alabama, Florida, North and South Carolina and Tennessee.
